CAAS Director (Client Accounting & Advisory Services Director)

As our CAAS Director, you will lead the strategy, development, and optimization of the firm’s accounting technology ecosystem while helping shape the future of our Client Accounting & Advisory Services division.

This leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining accounting expertise, operational strategy, technology, and client advisory services to create scalable systems that support both client success and firm growth.

Our current technology stack includes:

  • QuickBooks Online
  • ADP & Gusto Payroll
  • Canopy Practice Management

You will play a key role in evaluating, implementing, integrating, and optimizing systems that improve efficiency, reporting, workflow automation, and client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and optimization of scalable accounting systems and workflows
  • Develop technology strategies centered around QuickBooks Online
  • Evaluate and implement integrations across payroll, billing, CRM, reporting, and practice management systems
  • Oversee data migration, data quality, and workflow automation initiatives
  • Create SOPs, documentation, and staff training programs
  • Develop dashboards and KPI reporting tools
  • Support internal teams with accounting technology and advisory solutions
  • Collaborate with tax, audit, and advisory teams to improve processes and client service
  • Assist with client onboarding, consulting, and system implementation projects
  • Manage project timelines, scope, budgets, and stakeholder communication

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related
    field
  • CPA preferred
  • 8+ years of accounting or finance experience
  • Strong QuickBooks Online experience required
  • Experience with ADP, Gusto, Canopy, and accounting system integrations
    preferred
  • Knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
  • Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
  • Experience within a CPA firm or professional services environment preferred

Client Accounting Manager

As a Client Accounting Manager, you will manage and perform full-cycle accounting services for a portfolio of small business clients

while working closely with our Accounting Director and CPA team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building client relationships, solving problems, and helping businesses gain financial clarity

through proactive accounting support.

Responsibilities Include

  • Managing month-end close
    processes
  • Bank and account
    reconciliations
  • Financial statement preparation
    and analysis
  • Bookkeeping and payroll support
  • Assisting with tax preparation
    and planning
  • Working directly with clients to
    answer questions and provide
    guidance
  • Supporting special projects and
    advisory initiatives
  • Maintaining accurate and timely
    financial reporting
